NAHBS

(North American Handmade Bicycle Show)

People's Choice Awards.

If you've been watching the feed of bicycle stream through your screen and wanted to make your voice heard - here is your chance.

Some trends I have spied are the growing popularity of utility bikes, disc brakes and headset alternatives.  If one thing is not absolutely obvious, it's that the world of custom bikes is like having your own chef prepare your dream dish with culinary tastes varying to massive degress - perhaps due to dietary requirements.  I'm sure elements of these dishes will make their way into the big brands line-ups in future years.

One thing that I can't believe I'm not seeing is e-bikes.  Let's not pretend it is not going to be a 'game changer'.  My tip for 2019 will be more custom e-bikes.  You read it here first.
