IP-65 means it ready for harsh winters and gritty gravel, but not for submersion when scuba diving.

The Ingress Protection rating or 'IP Rating', is a industry standard to describe the level of water and dust proofness a product has. The Blackburn range of lights meets the IP-67 standard, which means is totally protected against dust/grit and is fully protected against the effects of immersion between 15cm to 1 meter for 30 minutes.
