The mostly off-road route covers some rugged, remote country in the Australian outback. Different to a lot of bike-packing adventures, this is not a "yeah two bottles will be fine" sort of a ride. This is a genuinely tough event in the age of countless events pretending to be tough. We strongly encourage you not to enter. Please enter some other event.

Sarah Hammond battled through the night, epic flood waters and terrible terrain to win the innaugural event in 2016.

She's back in Purple this year to defend her crown. Jesse Carlsson has a handicap thanks to a wheel damaged in transit but will be forging ahead at the only pace he knows - fast.

Great shirt for MtB

- great lightweight material that is easily cleaned

- pockets well positioned and zip secure

New Favourite Shorts!

I purchased the Ardent MTB Shorts for trail riding and absolutely love them. Super comfy and the pockets work!!! No phone slap!!! I went a size up from normal to allow for knicks on some of my longer rides. This was perfect.
