FUN ON TWO WHEELS

Tour De Melburn - What am I getting myself into?

The Tour De Melburn is a scavenger hunt of the city by bicycle.

You will need to find places, and validate you have been there by taking a photo of it WITH the event totem and sharing on instagram stories.  We hope you collect many great memories of the places you find.  Those who collect the most 'GOOD TIME' bonuses from the list can win bragging rights depending on how they fare in  the final TIME TRIAL in front of the crowd at Brunswick Velodrome.

Much like the Tour de France there is great temptation to cheat for glory.  Doping checks will be in place.  The Grandest Prize will be awarded by RAFFLE to anyone that makes it to the finish.

How long is the ride?

That is going to depend on you.  We anticipate you will cover around 40km roaming around town at a leisurely pace.  It's not a race, so keep it chill!

Do I need a fancy bike?

Nope.  Any two wheels will do.

Where does it start and finish?

Brunswick Velodrome!  MAP.

What happens on the day?

On event day you’ll be provided with a Rider Pack (Musette, Instructions, Map, Manifest, Pen, Totem,+ ) to equip you with everything you need to have a good time. Follow the “stages” on the map, collect the “GOOD TIME BONUSES” and meet everyone at the finish for the prize ceremony by 5:00pm.

FOLLOW the @tourdemelburn account on instagram for event updates.
