Back in the early 2000s I was a bike courier in London, innit. It was a transformational time in my 'bike' life. The cool kids rode these strange bikes with one gear - some with no brakes. They were like sparrows in traffic, darting side to side, effortslessly carving the traffic up like soaring through a forest.

One such courier was Pretty Boy, who I met at an alleycat, and later at the bike shop I worked weekends at where I sold him a pair of cool syntace bullhorn bars!

Years later he came to Australia to work as courier, got stuck in Sydney and made infrequent trips to Melburn for alleycats, swap meets, and Melburn Roobaix.

I had an sgb top tube protector, and my courier bag was a custom behemoth, capable of carrying enormous loads - the same bag I used to ride to Adelaide for the TDU in 2009.

Initially offering a range of hardware and carry suited to fixed gear / bike couriers, the skingrowsback line up has evolved to world class gear for road / gravel / mtb and commuters.

Loved for it's playful colours, it delivers on durability and functionality - and ethos taken from working in the saddle, 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.
