The first time I crossed paths with a Land Shark it was in the basement of a house I was couch surfing at in San Francisco. It hung from a wall, it’s tubes had been pounded at close range with a shotgun. The vibrant Americana paint still shone through and it was obvious that this was a classy frame from it’s construction – not its condition.
Here’s a great piece on a particularly well ridden Land Shark.
Adria’s Land Shark ‘ROAD SHARK’ was built up by Tracko at Golden Saddle Cyclery. What I love about this build is the near complete Campagnolo Super Record groupset, in a state similarly well loved as the frame. Dart your eyes from the Dura Ace post and Paul levers and it’s all there.
The MKS pedals and Brooks saddle make for the perfect city ride, and wherever Adria goes, ‘Annie’ is never far behind.
