It might get epic

For more details – read on…

Sunday 2 March. / 9am ROLL OUT!

By the numbers

This ride is 110km+ in length.

There is 2000m+ of climbing.

The route is predominantly dirt fire roads, dusty country lanes and bushwalking tracks.

The ride will take around 7 hours to complete at a cruisy pace.

No heroes.  No KOMs.  Just riding.

Meet at Hawkstowe Park Carpark.

SOUTH MORANG TRAIN STATION is 4km from the park.

Bike:

Cyclocross CX is the wise choice.

Cyclocross CX is the wise choice.

28mm tyres and wider.

While you could do this ride on a road bike, it would not be ideal.

Make sure your bike is running smooth BEFORE the ride.

If you brake pads and/or tires are on the way out – change them BEFORE this ride.

Bring your own spare tube(s), pump, tools.

I suggest two bidons minimum, some snacks and cash.

    Andy,

How do I download the GPS info if I’ve got a Garmin not a Bryton? Any chance you can post it on the site as a .TCX file?

  • http://www.fyxo.co/ fyxo

Hey @nickorloff:disqus Go to the link – Top right there is an option to export the route in a variety of formats including GPX, PWX, BWX, TCX.

    See you Sunday.

    Eat your Weet Bix.

  • Nick Orloff

Eat weet bix is fine, but open eyes to what’s in front of you is probably also good advice. Got it now, thanks.
